You must be 21 or older to adopt.
In the interest of finding stable homes for each of our pets, we will call to verify veterinary references and possibly require additional information to verify with landlords and/or HOA's.
Adopters agree to:
- provide veterinary care when needed, including vaccinations prescribed by the animal’s veterinarian.
- give the cat a permanent home for his/her life (approx. 18-20 years).
- keep the cat indoors and not allow it to roam outside
- not declaw the cat.
- get the cat microchipped if it is not already.
- comply with all state and local ordinances governing the licensing and ownership of cats.
Additionally,
- If for any reason I cannot keep the cat, I will notify Tigger's Haven to arrange for placement in another home.
- Should the cat become lost or stolen, I will notify Lee County Domestic Animal Services and file a Lost Cat Report.
